Map Distance |
MAP Distance )Maps are drawn according to the scale. Maps reduce the world or a state to fit into a sheet of paper. We can find the actual distance between two places given in the map. Scale is the ratio between the actual distance on the ground and the distance shown on the map. For example, distance between two places is 2 cm and the scale is 1 cm = 10 km. The actual distance between those two places will be 20 km. A scale can be shown in three ways:[©:/KESHAV SINGH :®/]
